HUD Renews Contract with Proofpoint Systems

Navy Renews Proofpoint Contract for LCS Program Management

This week the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program of the U.S. Navy renewed their contract for Proofpoint's Program Management and Tracking System (PMTS). LCS is a class of US naval surface ship intended for operations close to shore. It is envisioned to be a fast, agile, networked, and flexible surface asset; critically important and innovative to the Navy's surface mission. Due to its ability to be configured to support different warfare areas through an open architecture, mission module design, it provides unprecedented flexibility to the Navy.

Proofpoint CEO Moderates Executive Panel

This week, Proofpoint's CEO, Dr. Jim Hill, moderated the Executive Buzz Session panel at the annual conference of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI). The theme of the panel was "Gaining Executive Mindshare for New Investments." Joining Dr. Hill on the stage we're three nationally-known executives: Pat Hoban-Moore, the director of HUD's Office of Administration; Stephanie Meade, the vice president and Chief Nursing Officer for Mercy Health-West Hospital in Cincinnati, and Jonathan Levine, the Hollywood-based technical director and post-production supervisor for "Larry King Now" and director of "The Daughter", a full length feature film.

Mercy West Implements Proofpoint's Patient Feedback System

This week Mercy West implemented the Proofpoint Leadership Rounding application to collect and respond to patient feedback in real-time. Mercy West is a general medical and surgical hospital, with services that include maternity care, a cancer center, a heart center with open heart surgery, an orthopaedics center, and a women's health center. It is the newest hospital in the Mercy Health system.

National Healthcare Corporation Renews Contract for Proofpoint Infection Control Tool

This week National Healthcare Corporation (NHC) - Sumter, a 135-bed skilled nursing facility, renewed its contract for use of Proofpoint's cloud-based Infection Control Tool (ICT). Common challenges in the skilled nursing industry include providing a satisfactory number of nurse hours per resident per day and minimizing patients' risk of infection. ICT provides an easy-to-implement solution that addresses both challenges.
