Proofpoint Systems, a Silicon Valley-based provider of organizational performance diagnostic software, today announced that it will unveil PASS – its performance analysis support system – at the International Society for Performance Improvement's annual conference in Vancouver, Canada, on April 14, 2005.
To ensure its applications meet rigorous standards, Proofpoint Systems initiated a third party code audit. The results were impressive. In addition, auditors provided positive comment on PASS's functionality and user interface. “This audit indicates that the software is ready for prime time,” said lead developer Tom Moore. Elements of the PASS suite have been the subject of a US Navy "innovative initiative" and the newly expanded application is gaining a presence in the private sector.
For the first time in its 42 year history, the International Society for Performance Improvement has allowed the use of its name and logo in conjunction with the marketing of a commercial product. Under the agreement, ISPI will support marketing and informational efforts associated with Proofpoint Systems' groundbreaking organizational performance analysis software suite.
The US Navy has entered into an agreement with Proofpoint Systems for the continued development of its Human Performance Center. Under the terms of the agreement, Proofpoint will provide advisory support in line with the methods available via its Performance Analysis Support System (PASS) software suite. This agreement represents an 18-month relationship with the US Navy.
